Share the post "INFORMATION ON VAT LAW AMENDMENTS AFFECTING E-COMMERCE ITEMS"
Dear Customers,
We would like to inform you that amendments to the VAT Law have been adopted (effective from 18 December 2025), eliminating the VAT exemption for e-commerce items valued up to 22 euros.
Under these amendments, the Post of North Macedonia is required to submit all e-commerce items for customs inspection so that VAT can be determined. This new requirement may cause delays in the processing and customs clearance of items.
The Post of North Macedonia, in cooperation with the Customs Administration, is working on solutions to speed up customs formalities and item processing, with the aim of ensuring that they reach recipients/customers as quickly as possible.
